Is there any way to get this game to work in PJ64? I use 1.5b1, so if someone can get this game to work, what plugin system should I use? When I try to boot the game, I get a black screen with the new Daedalus plugin.
I have:
1.7 ghz pentium 4 processor
GeForce 2 MX/MX400 64 mb
A really bad sound card

It doesn't work, not on any public emulator anyway.

hi

i have no problems running the game at all with PJ 64 1.5 final

but there are certain area where the frame rate drops really badly
I'm especially thinking of the puzzle sequence inside jiggywiggy's temple where i hardly manage to get more than 0.5 fps (!)

is this a know issue (I think it is because of the 3D scene being displayed on the jiggies) or is there a way to fix that ?

it's kinda weird to loose 15min to insert 5 piece of a puzzle ^_^

PC spec's :

Pentium 4 @ 2134Mhz
512 MB DDR
GeForce 1 DDR
Windows 2000 SP3

taken from the gamefaqs file that comes with the emu. if you have a problem with a game try looking there first, there are many solutions for problems like this.

"This game makes extremely heavy use of the framebuffer during these sequences, making multiple rapid texture downloads for the animated puzzle effect. This can cripple even a high spec. PC. It is suggested you temporarily turn off the emulation of this effect while you complete the puzzle to improve performance. To do this, uncheck Self-rendered textures (video plugin, ROM Settings tab). When you have completed the puzzle, you may wish to turn this back on so as not to lose other effects that the game is using this feature for, such as the menu background."

hope it helps
