Will there ever be a software plugin for pj64 (Like peops in psx emus) Or are computers just too slow for software emulation?

it would be far too slow due to all the functions involved, much more work to do than the psx - an example is the zbuffer. i don't think you can emulate that in software mode.

i know someone who tried to do a software renderer... he gave up when he found you can't do everything the n64 needs at once, without a tragic loss of speed (i've tried it, its not pretty lol)
