when will the day come?
will the day ever come when we can play n64 games on our pc at the same standards as an n64. im talkin about 100% compatability and no glitches etc. im askin cos everything seems to have gone quiet. is there any new projects in the pipeline. like a new version of pj or any new plugins? i certainly hope we are not getting to the end of n64 emulation when we have only just started to get good things from it

I dislike questions like this. One could just as easily ask-
"when will we see a perfect NES emulator?" -because we're not even there yet. The joy is in the journey my friend; just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Yes it's true it's impossible to get a 100% , but they can (some alrady are ) better then the original , explenation : improved garphics , better sound quality , net play , save states , etc .

I might as well add my little comment in:
If a game is perfected (I prefer better than being exact) then I consider that good enough... I probably wont have my whole collection but if I can play a good few better than it was originally designed to play then I am one happy puppy~ |

This page of a thread at Emutalk addressed the problems with N64 netplay. Give it a read.
