rar files

i havw a few roms that are rar files. now i dont know what this means but i do no that they wont load. how come? is there a way to play these types of rom?
also another question. how come in my emus there are no descriptions next to the roms in the roms list?

Umm..... install a software called winrar..Rar files are just compressed files (like zip files).
I always use winrar coz it supports ace,rar and zip files as well.

Uncompress those N64 roms into the PJ64 rom folder or uncompress the roms then zip them into zip files.. Either will work.. PJ64 supports zipped roms...
