Are you coppying them zipped or with the normal extension? I've burned several roms to CDs but i think they were all compressed weither with WinZip or WinRar. But it's kind of stuppid if you can't burn them unziped... weird problem....

HUH ?!?!?
I could burn any rom without problems.
It doesn't matter if the data you want to copy is compressed or not (it's just data, and ANY data can be burned).

Make sure that you don't burn at a too fast of a speed which will cause a buffer underun. And if they are zipped, try to extract them and recompress them cause maybe the current zip file contains errors and burning program won't burn files with errors in them.

Also, this doesn't belong to this forum.

Not if the data is "damaged" and nero can't read it

The point is to back up your data.

The software wont read it because the files probably have errors.
