Well as you can see from my sig my system is a bit better than yours and i also have slow down in this game. It is mainly the lack of support at the moment, i think in futur releases of both the emulators and the plugins you will start to see speed increases. N64 emulation seems to be a little slow at the moment so it is takin a little while longer. Hopefully there will be some new releases soon.
Oh yeah and onboard graphics is never any good no matter how much memory it has. It makes a big difference having an video card.

Thats strange, because Perfect Dark runs fine on my comp and your system is better than mine. I only get small gliches in the menu animation. Gameplay and cutscenes all run at 60 frames per second.

Do you mean that the sky leaves trails behind itself? That part is a known issue I think and the only thing you can do is wait for a new plugin that can play PD better.

For the ppl who are interested:
I recommend setting the HAL to "Direct3D HAL" (not the T&L one) and set geometric transformation to "Internal". That way you can see more stuff (which are supposed to be there) while you can't with "external" transformation. I am sure you will notice it when you look at the menus, especially ![]() BTW, have you seen Perfect Dark playing in a real N64? it just lagged. So the slowdowns in the emu are normal no matter how fast your machine is. However, disabling the "advance block linking" option will help alot. Hmm, why didn't I just tell you to check out the PJ64 Game FAQ in the first place?
