A couple of questions from the dummy

I'm quite new to the N64 emulation environment, so I need some help:

1. In StarFox 64, did anyone fix the slowdown where all the planets were shown? I read in the FAQ that it was a known bug. Just wanted to know if anyone got around it

2. In Turok - Dinosaur Hunter, I can't start an actual game. The title screen is fine. I hear the music in the background, but I don't see anything

hummm, hum. "Games for the emulator" is the same thing as a rom. I don't want this thread closed because of you

I don't think there is a fix for StarFox; you'll just have to live it. It's not that bad anyway.

For Turok, check the counter factor setting. Load the game and go to Options\Settings\Rom Settings. It'll probably be set to 1. Change it to 2 (or default) and reset (F1). The game should then start up. Here's the problem though, with the CF on 2, the game will likely lock up on you, particularly at the start of level 4, but also at other random places. I personally have no problems with the CF at 1; the game starts up just fine. For some people (or rather some systems) the game won't start with CF=1.

I got Turok to work, but the FPS is slow in some spots.
