delayed input reactions

i use the latest nrage plugin and when i play conkers bfd along with all other games, the key input is delayed. its like i have to hold down for a while to get it to work, but when i hold it down too long its too much response. for example, in conkers when i use the sniper gun and aim with the r button, it either moves too far when i push the button too long or dont move when i let go too early. anyways, this is long so is there a way to make the response quicker?

i dont know if it has anything to do with that, but in Counter Strike the same thing happens if you're not using the best mode for you. like, in D3D that happens to me, but not in OpenGL. the contrary happens to a friend of mine

its delayed by purpose - or rather it increases the longer you hold a button, if it wouldnt you would immediatly move at full Speed and be unable to take just small steps for example or take smooth curves in racing games.

A Gamepad with Analog-Stick would be better of course

What FPS are you running at? Usually it shouldnt be a long response if u run at good FPS.

i get good enough fps, its around the normal. well, i'm not complaining that its bad, i like it in some situations but some times i perfer a little less delay, like when i have to pull off combos that requires fast input or something like that. is there a way to adjust it?

well.. you coul leave the Analog-stick unassigned and make a macro-modifier for each direction. modifiers dont have that delay.

best thing to do would be choosing "Config 2", that way you can even toggle between em with another modifier.
