I can't play T3 in hi-res mode

When I switch it on, the screen gets so big that only 1/4 of it appears on the screen... I've tried both windowed and full-screen mode and nothing worked

How can I solve it?

You don't need the high-res mode. You can turn up your monitor's res far higher than what the game originally supported anyway.
