donkey 64
can anyone get donkey kong 64 running smoothly? its not too bad, it runs at 60 fps, but it is slowed down for some reason. if i take the fps limitation off, it goes about 70-80 fps and is a lot smoother, just a little too fast. i think it would run a lot nicer if it had better fps limitation.

no, you misunderstood me. i know about the counter factor setting, but that doesnt change the smoothness of the game. what i am talking about is, when playing it it looks like its running at about 40 fps, when it is really at 60 fps. when you take off fps limit it gets really smooth but its too fast maybe if i could change the fps limit from 60 to about 65 it would run smoother. anyone know how to change the limit like you can in epsxe?

This is the problem with tweaking the counter factor. Since it effects the timing in the core, it can have unusual and often undesirable effects on frame speed and/or smoothness. Because DK64 requires so much tweaking just to get it running, I wouldn't expect it to run perfectly.
