aidyn chronicles the first mage

did anyone get this game running correctly on pj64? all i get is a blue sky background and the character's shadow that moves around. nothing else seems to show up. if you want to tell me that this is a crappy game, i dont care. i just want to try it.

I actually liked it. I don't have pj64 installed at the moment, but it is a matter of switching on/off some of the graphics options in jabo's plug-in. It also runs just fine under 1964.

configure graphics plugin, at the "Emulation" tab, uncheck the "Enable Display List Culling".

What would be nice..

I'm guessing that display list culling is needed in some things, not in others...

Wouldn't it be VERY handy to have some sort of database for grafix plugins for the emu to disable or enable parts for certain games, automagically?? is it possible at all?

Yup

Something like it -
either a seperate loadable plugin config for certain games

a default, then say one ofr oo7, one for conker, one for aiden.
then you start with default, but choose another before running the rom.

OR

have the same deal, but have it AUTO detect the rom you're running (an easy way would not be a total database of good/patched/bad roms, but a local database of your roms only..)
