Yoshi's Story graphic bugs

I'm running v1.6 and I have problems with graphics on 2nd level.

With Jabo's Direct3D6 plugin I'm getting black screen ingame, game is still playing. With Jabo's Direct3D8 plugin I have level graphics, but everything else is black including Yoshi and enemies.

Also tried Rice's Video Plugin and it showed really screwed up graphics. Any suggestions? Which plugin is better and what should I use?

With Glide64, I'm getting an error:

"Error: uCode crc not found in INI, using currently selected uCode

6bb745c9"

unhide the advanced options in the DX8 plugin and enable d3d clear mode to per frame, see if it clears up the black lines.

Hmm, I get now graphics ingame, but now screen jitters a lot and with this setting enabled, it jitters even more >_<
