HELP!!! with PJ64 v1.6

Can any1 help me.
I've got the emulator but when i try to run the game, then there would be no screen. What i mean by this is that when i try to play the game that i have, the screen would just stay black as it started of with but there would be sound of the game such as 'super Mario 64' whenever play this game, the screen would just stay black but the sounds would come, PLZ could some1 tell me how to fix this problem!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a graphic plug in problem to me.
What graphics plugin are you using and how is it set up?
