P64 + Fraps

Hi

I wanted to record abit with Fraps and I have a problem with the recording.
I want to record @ 30fps but when I do so, the emu changes to 30fps and cause a slowdown of both screen & sound so I get choppy.

I can raise the fps to 60 and it will run fine but this will cause me to have big file size, is there any way I can record @ 30fps without this slowdown?

Computer specs:

AMD Athlon 64 x2 4200+ 2,3ghz
Ati Radeon x1900
4GB Ram
OS: Windows XP Pro 32bit.

Record at full speed, and re-encode to a lower Framerate later.

I'm using Virtualdub for encoding my videos, I tried as u said (record @ full speed which would be 60fps) but then when I went into Vdub to encode @ 30fps everything was in slowmotion.

I don't have vegas so I can't use the "playback rate" feature it has, any workaround in Vdub?

You're doing it wrong.

Leave 'source rate adjustment' at 'no change'

Under 'frame rate conversion' select 'convert to fps' and type in '30'

Save.

Conquer Finland.

Done.
