Question about Project 64 1.7

Hi,

I'm considering donating to get the latest project 64 version but am just wondering, is it worth it? Or will it be a waste of 20 dollars for me.

Like, does version 1.7 replace 1.6 in entirety, or are there many games where 1.6 is still better? What improvements does 1.7 make?

Thanks.

1.7 does feature a significant batch of improvements over 1.6 (1.7 is still considered "in progress")
A friendly donate would not go wasted.

That's what I thought, but it seems like they are just not developing project 64 anymore, I mean, when was the last update? That's what I meant by wasted.

But I just might do it. One more question though, are there any problems of it running on Vista?

Not all updates are publicly disclosed.
Not sure about Vista personally, but there shouldn't be reasons for it to not run (the GlideHQ Napalm gpu plugin should be fine).

Current updates are alpha's for build 50 which will feature a redesigned Options panel, and per game plugins + settings.
