Exact same thing happens to me, I can't beat the damn mission because of it. Sorry, no help here.

You don't really need to see thru the spycam to accomplish a mission. In the level where you have to photograph the conspirators, just stand in front of the hole and equip the cam. Move it forward if you have to.

The information there is complete and accurate. If a fix is found, it will end up there. And look for an updated rdb soon, you'll like what you see. p.s. If someone could send me a save state of Perfect Dark right before you need to use the spycam, I'll see what I can do.
