Help with Chrono Cross/ePSXe

Hi, I am new to the ePSXe and Chrono Cross is the first ISO I am trying to run but I have run a CD. I am using v1.5.2 to run Chrono Cross.

The file I downloaded was called "Chrono Cross - Disc 1 - NTSC - (U)"

I unzipped the file and it split up into a bunch of other files. I then ran ePSXe go to run ISO and go to the Chrono Cross folder, there are 4 visible files in there all are IMG files. I run the one that says disk 1 but all I get is a black screen and no error messages.

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if there is something wrong with the game.

The BIOS is use is SCPH1001 and the video plugin I use is Pete OpenGL2.

Any help would be great.

devilfella, NGEMU doesn't support piracy, what you did by downloading the game.
Please have a more closer look to the rules.

Do you have the original game disc?
If yes make an ISO yourself and try then.
