Different FFVIII problems =/

I looked at the other threads and didn't find an answer, so bear with me on this new thread. I'm a total noob to this stuff and my computer crashed so I've had to redo all my emulators. You guys helped me out a lot last time I tried setting these up so here I am again =)

In FFVIII I have three problems: 1) All the cut scenes go at about 400% speed. 2) The game speed is about 250-300%. 3) The battles have nothing but my characters and the enemy, no menu at all.

Also, I know the first reply is going to be, "Please post this & this." Can you please tell me how to locate those? Like I said, I'm a total noob.

Tick 'Enable FPS Limit', 'Auto-detect FPS/Frame skipping limit' in your video plugin.

3- Turn up Off screen-drawing to 2 or higher

^^yea off screen drawinf fixes the menu problem
