Hi. I just got this new game controller, only to find that the analog sticks won't work with ePSXe. Any suggestions? I set the Right and Left X ad Y axes in the configuration. The names of the "buttons" showed up when I moved the sticks in the configuration. The controller is a Logitech Dual Action USB.

all that does is set the analog stick to be the d-pad, it doesn't actually set it to analog mode(if you notice, it disables the d-pad, basically swapping them)
What I did to get the analog to actually work(d-pad works at the same time, analog has full range of motion instead of just the 8 way it had acting as the d-pad) I downloaded the latest "logitech gaming software" from the logitech website, installed it, and it works perfectly. If you look real close when you're playing a game that actually supports analog (any racing game, ff8, parasite eve off the top of my head are a few) you'll notice the difference. |
