Holy Crap Superfast FFIX
Well, I just "put together" ePSXe, and due to lack of ISOs, I tried my Final Fantasy IX CD. Yaaay, it works... sort of. The game is about ten times as fast, and unplayable. Help, please.
EDIT: It's not just FFIX, it's Final Fantasy Origins, and any other of my PSX games. Last edited by Crazy Lou; January 18th, 2008 at 01:45. |

there are two things that can fix this, the first is to enable FPS limit in the video config of the plugin you are using and set it to something like 60, then make sure frame skipping is disabled.
and the second, if by chance, you are using a multi-core processor, make sure you have epsxe assigned to only one of the cores, multi-core cpus have been known to cause issues similar to the one you are having. most likely the 1st thing i mentioned should fix this for you.

I'll try that, but I can't check the results until... way tomorrow.
It works. My sound is screwed up, but I can figure that out. Thank you. Last edited by Crazy Lou; January 18th, 2008 at 19:47. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |
