FF9 battle music

Hi

I made some researches but I couldn't find anything related to my problem. It only happens in battles for some reason the music dosen't work very well. After a few seconds one sound inside the music sticks and never stop but everything is back to normal when the battle is over. Can you help me?

Have you tried another emulator and/or sound plugin to see if it has anything to do with that?

Are you using save states?
