Unhappy Problem with FF7

I'm having a problem loading ff7 using the CD =\ i used to get only the Sony entertainment of America screen but thats it so i checked some web site and tried many configs and right now this one:

Plugin: Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.8
Author: Pete Bernert
Card vendor: Microsoft Corporation
GFX card: GDI Generic

Resolution/Color:
- 1280x960 Fullscreen - NO desktop changing
- Internal X resolution: 2
- Internal Y resolution: 2
- Keep psx aspect ratio: off
- No render-to-texture: off

- Filtering: 4
- Hi-Res textures: 0
- TexWin pixel shader: on
- VRam size: 0 MBytes

Framerate:
- FPS limitation: on
- Frame skipping: off
- FPS limit: Auto

Compatibility:
- Offscreen drawing: 1
- Framebuffer effects: 3
- Framebuffer uploads: 1

Misc:
- Scanlines: off
- Mdec filter: on
- Screen filtering: on
- Shader effects: 0/1
- Flicker-fix border size: 0
- GF4/XP crash fix: off
- Game fixes: on [00000002]

my system is basic hp 2002 windows no video card ( theres not even a slot on the mother board -.- ffs)
also using for cd:
ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.

And for sound :
Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41

so after doing all this what your previous forums and such say i still get a notice that says " No WGL Extension" then "ePSXe.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Help please i hope this was enough information =D

i think its got something to do with the shaders. turn them off, everything related to shaders. i dont think your integrated card supports the directx version needed for epsxe. do other games work for you?

are you saying there are scanlines showing up now? there should be an option in the video config that enables or disables them if thats what you are asking, it should be towards the bottem.

just a suggestion, i think considering your hardware, you might be better off using psx emulator. epsxe is a more of a graphical-enhancement based emulator with the whole plugin system, while psx is an emulator that mimics the playstation down to the smallest of small details without ever going past what it really looked like.

what i mean by that is it never really steps over what a real playstation is capable of, it doesnt use any filters or enhancements that can be made with directx or opengl based videocards because it doesnt make use of plugins or anything like that really. so you have better chances of an older system or older hardware component being able to work better with that emulator than you would with something like epsxe.
