breath of fire is running way too fast!!!

Hi there!
I just wanted to emulate breath of fire 3 with epsxe, and everything is working quite alright, only that the game speed is way too fast...
does anyone know how i can change that?
i have:
bios:scph1001 (NTSC)
pete openGL driver for video
i suppose it has something to do with the cdrom config, but i dont know how to configurate it properly...
can anyone help me???

Can you post your plugin settings and pc specs?

check the FPS limit box under the auto detect
