Lunar 2 help

ok so i made it to the second cd and i got to where you meet the fake althena and get into a battle with ghaleon. I attack ghaleon and then nothing happens, but its not like the game froze, it still runs but ghaleon and ruby dont do anything after hiro attacks and the game is stuck in that battle. solutions?

Have you tried loading your memory card in another emulator? Or any other of the troubleshooting steps from the sticky at the top of the forum you posted in?
