Sound Dialogs Missing in Resident Evil 2 , Dino Crisis& Vagrant Story (Maybe?)
Hi,
i use both pcsx and epsxe latest version for linux i'm building a media center with games support so i need to use the iso instead of the cd...so i haven't try the cdrom with the emulator (the box has no cd drive....ehehe) A lot of games works perfectly with these config Pete's MesaGl Driver 800x600 (Video works perfectly - no glitch at all in games tested ) Eternal Spu 1.41 ( Sound perfect in everygames except for the two mentioned) Core iso read provided for epsxe ( Tryed to use Mooby in epsxe but no luck - it always use the core plugin; Used Mooby 2.7 (2.8 Don't work on linux) with pcsx but no luck because RE2 doesn't play with pcsx ) Problem is : on RE2 sound in cutscenes fmv and during dialogs are missing! Also on Vagrant Story there's no sound during dialog (But it's first time that i play it and dunno if it's supposed to be...i tested it only for first dialog between the two knights at the beginning) Same for Dino Crisis : no audio dialog Every other sound play flawlessy Conf of Eternal : Enable Sound = Yes Enable Cddb = No Enable XA Sound = Yes Enable XA Read = Yes Enable Spu Irq hack = No Audio Device OSS ( i use alsa) Buffer size 150 Audio Out Method = work with Thread and SpuAsync mode smooth Update before accessing registry = yes Spu irq - wait cpu action = no Spu irq - force interruption action = no Show realtime config window = no Wait for Xa Buffer is free = yes ( Only for Thread method ) Cache VAG decode = no Fine tune = 0 Reverb = Neill's Found on the net that could be a problem of the iso read plugin because it can read perfectly the xa audio...but can't tell to epsxe to use mooby cdr plugin and in pcsx RE2 doesn't work and Dino Crisis crash after the first fmv (no sound anyway) Any idea? Thanks in advance for the help.... |
