Monster Rancher 2(not CD swap PROBLEM)

My other games work perfect. This game crashes at random times and just shows a blank screen and some times music is playing. The controls don't work and i cant see any thing though. I tried differnt emulater nad exact same thing happened. I also made a ISO and it happened. It happens when I set video on nice or fast.


It freezes when the screen turns back like to swich to anotehr screen like after hes done training it is will just go black then stay that way I can't find a certain patern though.

According to the pSX compatibility list:

Monster Rancher 2:
Emulator hangs after the end of the Kawrea expedition; other expeditions are not yet tested.

I suggest you to use another emulator as ePSXe. If you decide to, here's a guide about how install it.

Well as you can see there are many typos in the original post; there might be a reading/writing comprehension problem. Play nice with the folks who can't/don't want to r34d on da internetz

airsh0w: have you read this thread? Also, what are your computer's specs? I have a feeling there might be a driver and/or plugin issue here.

This specs:

CPU and RAM: Press Windows key + Pause/Break.
Video card: Press right click on the desktop-->Properties-->Settings tab and you will see some monitor on some video card.

You can also go to start-->run-->type "dxdiag".

Anyway, you (unfortunately) have an awful graphics card, I'd say stick to to Peops software GPU.

It was suggested the problem may have something to do with your hardware, what is the video card you're using? How much memory does it have/use? Is it onboard? Does it share memory with the computer?

Ok you have posted in the wrong section. We anyway tried to help you. And it seems you don't read what we post.
And now this is our fault you bought a playstation because you claimed we couldn't help? Don't search anymore why some people will be "rude" with you. Moreover this kind of behaviour won't really want make to help you.

Anyhow,Your graphic card is an S3 chrome IGP.So try as suggested hushypushy to use the P.E.Op.S. GPU plugin.

Also try to see if you don't have any dos error in the ePSXe dos windows when this kind of errors occurs.
Don't forget too that you can try others emu like SSSPSX or PSXeven.

You said (at least I think so, this is what I gathered from your gibberish) that you were rushing when you posted. Well, okay. Take an extra minute or two when posting to ensure that people can understand what you're saying.
