Rayman 2 - The Great Escape - Crashes in intro

Have anyone tried this game with ePSXe? When I start the game, the sound is little bit disrupted. Then, when I start new game, the intro appears, but the graphics run like this: for a while it goes but then it stops for a while and again. This is happening for about 10 seconds and then the ePSXe crashes without any error message. It is doing with all linux plugins.

okay then:
1. post which plugins you use
2. you hardware specs (start->run->dxdiag->save all information->attach it to your next post (DO NOT POST ALL THE INFO IN YOUR POST, ATTACH IT!!!))
3. use "copy to clipboard" under the video plugin config and past it into your post (this is small enough to be posted instead of attached )

You are truly worthy of being the greatest idiot on the face of the earth.
Linux was NOT made to be stable, it was made so you can customize whatever the hell you want, so you can develop things on it.
Windows is indeed superior, and you just earned yourself a full system crash.

You are wrong on this point. I personnaly think linux is a good stable system. And windows users are not BFU. They simply don't have the same needs as you. I don't know why people keep comparing Windows to Linux.

The two systems weren't designed to serve the same purpose which is normal Linux beeing open source. So you can't make comparisions on them.

Now back to your problems. There is a reason why I asked you last time if you didn't have a dual boot with a windows OS like XP. It wasn't because I don't like linux:
I assume that majority of people on this board use Windows. So majority of the problems come from this O.S. (See: darth sephiroth asked you something about DirectX) .Therefore this is a little difficult to try solve problems on another system than Windows because the help was principaly designed for windows and not really for others O.S. Haven't you noticed your 4 threads wasn't answered?

Linux is particular you know. I can't even suggest you to upgrade your drivers because there are some linux versions who won't support the new version (until you tweak the drivers or the system of course). Now you see the difficulty?

Hum....The simple way:

-You wait for somebody who have linux, enough knowledgeable on the O.S and who successed to run games on a stable way to come help you. This is possible....but in this case it is better to make a jump on linux boards. (I don't know if you use Unbuntu but they surely can try to help you).

The hard way:

-Find a Windows OS (9X or 2000 or XP) and make a dual boot with. In this case if you have problems, it will be simplier for us to help you.

Here's all I can suggest to you.

You have valid things to say, but YOU are the one that comes out looking like an idiot with the stupid name calling. Stop flaming, or you will be banned. It's not so hard is it? To express your thoughts without engaging in some stupid ad hominem fallacy?

Trainzak: The next time that happens, show it in a PM to someone with silver stars (like me).

Anyway, Blackwing, if you're reading this, you're banned for a week. When you say more insults than useful comments, that's just not acceptable. YOU sir, are the douche bag here. And copying the South Park movie with the "penguin ****er" comment, come on...if you're going to be an idiot and get banned from a forum, at least be original. When you come back, you'll be watched closely--you aren't far from a permanent ban.
