Legend of Dragoon issue

First off hello ^^
Im not too smart when it comes to getting technology to work with me, heck it took me 7 hours just to figure out how to get ePSXe even show signs of it wanting to play Legend of Dragoon.

I did a search and found a bunch of stuff that didnt apply to my issue just a bunch of legend of mana and legend of zelda and very few LoD.

I go to load the game and it starts to play and then it freezes or plays real slow. I own the game and i'm trying it to play it from the cd.
I've heard of people having luck by doing something with Alcohol 120% but I would rather have to play the game from the cd.

My comp stats from what the system says are:
Amd Athlon 64 X2
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE
1.93 gb or RAM

Plugings im using for ePSXe:
Pete's OpenGL 1.58
Pete's DSound audio driver 1.14
PEOpS CDR driver 1.4
and i've tried both popular drivers with no real luck
I'll get some screen shots of my settings for ePSXe later.

EDIT: I found someones settings and i'm using them, the game now loads faster but right after the white screen that says sony presents i get nothing but a blank screen.

Judging from your post, I'd say ePSXe is not for you. What you should use is pSX. It requires very little configuration and it's very simple, you'll have your game up and running in no time.

Make sure you have a BIOS, you configure your gamepad/keyboard, set the resolution you want to play at (probably your desktop res), pop the CD in, and go to File-->Insert CD drive. Then you're set.

okay well i keep getting errors when i go to use pSX and i've downloaded it a few times so i give up with that.

ePSXe runs all the disks for LoD except the first one, I even tried 3 copies of the first disk and I get either opcode errors or a blank screen after "sony computer entertainment presents"

Here are my settings for the gpu

(Im not playing at fullscreen though)

Also I have tried other bios and gpu's and i get the same problem.

cant remember the error exactly, but it tells me to re install/download pSX.

I'm still trying to figure out why the first disk of LoD doesnt work while the rest do
