Hum...I think you should read this.

A last thing:as you're using ePSXe, next time you should post in the "Problems with game section".

anyway welcome to ngemu forums.

You didn't even read the troubleshooting faq.....This is quoted from:
Quote:
So what are these command line switches i keep hearing so much about?
they are "switches" you can use to do different things, for example load with no GUI (-nogui), or load with the BIOS (-slowboot)
for a list of command line switches, try this thread, and especially this post.
once you've decided which one(s) you want to use, here is how you use them.
As you are in a hurry:
Chrono Cross doesn't work ;(

You can also go to:
Start => Run => and then write "ePSXe.exe -noauto".

Delete the space between "-noauto" and "ePSXe.exe".

Exactly what I thought..Your cpu is dual core.check this site for your problem.Check also the thread talking about DC cpus.

For the no auto issue, make a shortcut from the epsxe.exe then follow Hushypushy's instructions (err...man can you tell me why did you take this nick?).

i appreciate that red lion but save me having to read through, basiclly what do i need to do?

I checked and i do have hyperthreading enabled but its still the same so it cant be the dual core

btw where are hushypushy's instructions?

Nope, there must be space but the path needs to be marked with " and then you can add -noauto.
So if your path is C:\ePSXe\ePSXe.exe the target in shortcut will look like this:

"C:\ePSXe\ePSXe.exe" -noauto, or you can use ePSXe 1.5.2 without noauto.

As for Dual Core check this.

*Moved to ePSXe section*

You are probably closing the emulator in a wrong way.
When you want to exit press ESC and then close the emulator from the GUI.

Now reboot PC or kill all ePSXe processes from Task manager because the emulator is still running in the background.

Yeah, well quotes are used if there is a space in the path but you can't go wrong in using them every time.
