Opcode error on FF IX

Hello

Im playing FF IX, and when i go to bottom of the lifa tree and defeat the monster that is there, one animation is initiated, but after it finish the ePSXe "crashs", showing the error:

Opcode 3f UNK (PC00000080) (85602,167)

What can i do?

I saw a post that one user said that is probably a error with corrupted iso's.

Thanx!

Hum A quote you are trying to play?from the FAQ:

Quote:
The game crashes with an opcode error:

* Your CD may be corrupted. clean it off or make an ISO out of it.
* Try using a different graphics plugin
* Use a different emulator
* Don't use save states (load off memory card).
Also is FF9 you are trying to play?

Yeah... if its me you're asking... same problem... opcode error when going down the lifa tree... (epsxe problem)

i converted my vgs mem to that save point because i was having trouble with the end of disc 2 fmv and have the same problem (vgs problem) with other emus (psxeven and psxemu)...

but somebody played my card for me and gave sent me the start of disc 3 memcard... im very thankful for that...

Try another emulator such as pSX. Then save and tracsfer it back to ePSXe.

pSX can use ePSXe memory cards actually, so I just set pSX to those and switch up what I'm playing on when I need to.

Use ePSXe v1.5.2 to pass that moment on disc 4
