Speed issue with FF IX

I just got epsxe, and when I load up the only game I have, Final Fantasy 9, the game runs at one hundred times normal speed. I was wondering how I would go about fixing this.

Moved to the EPSXE forum. Set a frame limit and you should be ok.

Or just manually set the FPS limit to either 50 or 60(50 if it's PAL game and 60 if it's NTSC).

Thanks, I found it. I'm going to test the game now.

Keeping it in the same thread, but now I'm having another issue.

When I get into battles the command window and the health bars and such don't show up on the screen.
