Xenogears Cutscene-ish problem

Hi, I'm currently playing Xenogears with a CD I borrowed from a friend of mine. Anyways, I'm at the part where Fei is at Kislev (Kaiser playing the organ then meeting with Masked Woman). When Fei is having a dream (reminisce his childhood, him playing with his mother?) at one point, where he sees a visage of his childlike self, while the camera rotates, frame skipping goes slower and slower. After it rotates, it suddenly freezes.

I've been looking at topics with Xenogears related problems. I've tried using Pete's OpenGL and OpenGL2 Plugins, but it still freezes at that part.

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce4 TI 4200 with AGP8x (yes, its an old card) 128mb vram.

RAM: x2 512 MB Generic

Current Display Resolution: 1280x1024 32-bit color.

From the Troubleshooting FAQ:

Quote:

Xenogears freezes on disc one at Fei's memory scene no matter what I do.

* If you're using ePSXe, press F7 once before the scene, and once after.
* You can also switch to another emulator to bypass this problem (and you don't have to use the F7 trick)

EDIT: Oh wait, do I press F7 when Fei sees himself as a child, or when he is running with the cross on the background?

When the scene starts, when you see Fei running in different directions, you press F7. When he wakes up short after that, you press F7 again.

i havent had any problems with it, apart from where fei first enters weitall and a couple of others, the screen goes red/black and you hear the gun shots, i use epsxe and petes directx plugin
