Chrono cross Grand slam problem

hi.

im having a problem with chrono cross.

I cant see the menu/text in the grandslam battle arena at zelbess.

im using epsxe 1.52 with petes opengl2 2.8 driver on this computer:

amd athlon xp 2600+
1024mb ram
gf 6800le

Increase offscreen drawing to 4. :/
Push up to at least 4/2/2.

the 2.8 drivers dont have that many options but I already have the equivalent settings applied.

anyway, after disabling frameskipping the text appeared.
