UFO Defense problem

I can't run UFO Defence with my epsxe. At the beginning of game the movie is played, but when I press button I can't see the menu (but I can hear menu sounds) Anyone can help?

Hmm I've managed to make it work

I think this error was caused by software plugins such as Mesa or P.E.Op.S SoftX driver. I think it's fixed in new Pete's OpenGL2 plugin. I had a problem running this plugin, but it seems that there is new version, which works OK.
