casper game...i cant continue! spu timeout msge!

im trying to play casper, but everytime it goes to the "hang on" screen (its something of a "loading" screen), it wont continue to the next scene. it goes to a black screen that says spu timeout=7 blah blah.

whats the best config so i dont get this msge?

Are you using an ISO image or playing directly from Cd?
What sound plugin are you using? Have you tried any other plugins?

im playing directly from the cd.

im using petes dsound.

umm...i havent tried others yet.

Use eternal SPU plugin 1.41, you can get it here.
