If you have a game make an iso out of it.

the reason it doesnt work is probably because it's a piece of crap that you downloaded. so go make an ISO like Shendo said.

But guys where can he find FFVII ? They don't sell it in stores anymore. It's like Snes. You can't buy games if you wanted to.

Ever heard of ebay? (and you can buy snes games, yup just found a Chrono Trigger cartridge, current bid $28.00).
And he said that he does have the game.

Also places like EB games sell used games that people no longer wanted.

Heck, Sometimes I see SNES games, Playstation games, and dreamcast games that they sell, not to mention all the online retailers as well, that sell classic games.

As you can see there is absolutely no excuse for downloading games, there
are plenty of places that still sell the stuff, whether it be new or unopened, or used games.

well, then you're pretty much screwed. take better care of your CDs, now you have to buy another one.

I, also, am having problems getting the ISOs to run properly. I made ISOs of the original discs and burned them, and can't get them to run. Nor will the original CDs run. I've tried loading the ISO off my HD, and that didn't work. Mounted the ISO in Daemon Tools (yes, I switched the CD drive to load from to the virtual drive that I mounted the ISO to), and still nothing. My screen just sits there, black and doing nothing. The drive spins for a while if I attempt to boot from disc, but then it stops and nothing happens.

FF8 and some others, however, run decently. But I really only wanted to play FF7 (no more PlayStation, so that's why I'm using the emu in the first place).

seems more like a configuration problem rather than a CD or ISO problem. read here then here, and if you still can't figure it out, make your own thread.

Stops Befor The ProdClod 3x Punch Code

My iso does not recognize it needs to run the auto-sequence for barrat-tifa-cloud, where tifa and barrat stand on one side of the consol and cloud on the other, then u press the butten at the same time they do.

Well that never happens, the game acts as if the consol was just any other wall or inactive object, any one know why?

Thanks.

First do not revive/hijack threads. If you got a problem, make your own. Anyway
welcome to emuforums DeusExEpoch. Guess you didn't read this sticky?

Are you sure you're even at the correct place? I've beaten FF7 ~20 times and there were still some times in there where I stood at that infernal machine banging the O button for several minutes until I realized that I wasn't yet at the part of the game where that event takes place!

I have a feeling that this is a gameplay problem rather than an emulation problem, and it should be solved as soon as you figure out what's up. BUT, if you're still having problems, make your own thread. If it's game related, put it in Game Discussion (or take it to GameFAQs); if it's emulation related, put it in the section of the emulator you're using.
