ff7 crash...

i've been running ff7 in epsxe, and it's run good and fine... until i went to the battle arena. when i start a battle there, it does the swirl and all, but then stops... yet the music still plays.

i've changed my settings to ones that were mentioned on the board, yet i still have the same problem... maybe i got a bad img file?

Are there any errors displayed?
Bad image could be a problem, have you tried running the game from cd-rom?

nope, doesnt display any errors, and goes to a black screen with the music still running if i stop and continue...

not tried running a disc either, cant get my hands on a copy

You don't have a game disc?

Well not only because of that, as you see you probably can't get further in the game because of the corrupted image.

No, the image isn't corrupted... epsxe just hates you

actually, this is definitely the fault of the warez edition. i've seen it happen a lot, actually. i used to pass this part for people then i found out/caught on.

go buy the game. and dont load off save states when you do, else you'll have teh same problem.
