Another Thread about Final Fantasy IX

EDIT: Ok, i found that the reason of the slowdown was PEC, i turned on just 4 cheats (1 for each character) and they seem to slowdown the game just in that part of the game, if anyone has got a solution different than changing refresh rate (It makes numbers flip from 9999 to 160 very fast!) please post it here

Try without filters/pixel shaders.

other recommendations:
framebuffer uploads: max
turn the internal resolution that has the possibility to 3

that plugin was made by pete on a gf6600 so it should be able to go pretty much full out on a 6800

oh and post your sound plugin settings too, bad sound settings can mess things too

Well, seems that i can't use PEC with FF9, it lags my game a lot, so if someone can tell me if there is any savegame editor, or a tutorial how to hex edit them i will be very grateful, because i have no idea how to bypass that CRC32 protection

There is no point in playing one more time a game i've ended before on my psx if i haven't got cheats. I just want to skip hours of training, you know...

I enjoy more the story than the training, i used to train 5 hours daily to raise my BLM in FF XI, and i stopped playing because the game had no story, just played that game because plenty of my friends did so
