FF9 problem. Please help.

I have the same black screen problem in FF9. The game run just fine until disc3. After scene with Zorn and Thorn in Alexandria screen goes black and stays like that. I have tried everything that was suggested in other thread but nothing helped. So i have attached my memory card. Could someone pass that scene? Please?

Disc3, hmm...
Is there any crash or just black screen?

Btw: If I'm right is someone pass that part for you the game will crash
on another scene (I have seen a couple threads about that).

are you using ePSXe 1.6.0 by any chance? well, you shouldn't be....

F**k, that didn't help. Now i get black screen when it loads a save game. Any suggestion how i can get rid of this problem?
Ps. i am NOT using ePSXe 1.6.0

As i said, the game will probably hang again...
Are you playing off Cd or you have and ISO of the game?
If it is ISO, try running from cd.

Ok, i tried running from cd and when screen gone black i got this message:
"Error reading cd: 30,36,51"
Can it be a problem with my iso?

Probably Cd is dirty/scratched, try to clean it and then make an ISO out of it.

If that doesn't help your disc is probably too damaged...

I got a problem like that too I won't say where just in case of spoiling, but all I realized is... save often on different save slots because my save slot 1 got corrupted some how I would go into a battle and seconds later some stop error code (too bad hex is the standard stop error code :'( eh)
anyway's dont just save state like there's no save points at all. :-p

Oh yeah hit f2 to change save slot, and a little picture will show in the top right if something is saved there it's pretty cool. If you didn't know all ready.
