please help, ff8
ok, i have i problem.
whenever i try to load ff8 through running the cd, i just get a black screen and nothing else. i will post my config and can someone who klnows what they are doing please tell me if something is wrong? or atleast what the problem could be? anyway, here they are. if you're playing off a CD, don't use the ePSXe core. in fact, if you're playing FF8, just make an ISO because it's a long game with a lot of short loading scenes that will be much easier to tolerate off an ISO.
secondly, use Eternal 1.41 for sound with the FF8 fix. with that graphics card (aka, a steaming pile of integrated crap), you'll probably want to use Peops software GPU. this will let you play at full speed and maintain reasonable graphics. you can fiddle with D3D and OGL, but with Intel's EXTREMEEE graphics, don't expect much. |
