FF9: Help needed

Hey people,

I have seen that this problem has been talked about a whole lot.
I've tried every possibility to make it stop being a problem, but without luck.
I'm in the middle of the battle with Valia Pira, and as soon as Vivi casts water, or Valia Pira casts Thundaga, the game fails to procede.

I would really, really be the happiest person alive, if someone could just get me past this battle, so I can move on. Use ePSXe 1.5.2

Like I said, I already tried everything.

And I am using that particular version.

Try a different video plugin, make an ISO.

I am running an ISO, and nope, it's not downloaded. I also tried to make a new ISO again, but without luck.
Not looking to solve the problem for now, though. Just looking to get past that point and finish the game, before I get my PS back from my brother and start all over again.

If all the method still don't solve your problem and desperate to play this game so the easiest way is play the game in a real PS. I think playing game in a real PS will never give you a problem and promiss you a good ending…

have you tried using PEops software GPU or a differnet emulator?

did you use quicksave? how about loading from a memory card?
