certain limit breaks wont work-ff7-ePSXe

im running ePSXe with an official ff7 cd and with P.E.Op's Soft Driver 1.17
everything works fine but when i try to do earth rave or metiorain the game slows down alot and goes into a loop where nothing happens. its like the game wants to show the attack but it wont. so if anyone can help me thanx

what are your computer's specs? what are your settings for peops?

amd 1800+ at 1.8 GH
gigabyte motherboard
256 mg ram
- plenty of power
and i just switch to petes open gl 2 2.8

heh, nice desktop pic. next time, crop it. or, do you see that "copy settings to clipboard?" you can use that too.

first, change stretching mode to 0...then check out this thread

To remove the possibility of your disk being at fault: make an ISO file and play the game using that. Tutorials on how to do so can be found here.

BTW: Use Alt+Print Screen to take pictures of individual windows.

cosmo memory also doesnt work....well i tried to make a iso file but it had an error... so im guessing it is my cd and i will try the limit breaks when i change to disc 2

I'm guessing that's your problem. If you can't make an ISO, then that means that the CD is in some way damaged. Which is a good way to explain your gameplay issues.
