Resident Evil 2 freezes

Okay, so I'm running Resident Evil 2 and I'm on Leon's disk. It has worked perfectly so far, but nearing the end (I'm sure it doesn't matter but SPOILER when Annette shoots Ada and she's hanging over the edge) the game just freezes and the music continues on. Is it the iso? If anyone has any ideas that would be great.

I finished this game with ePSXe and I don't remember it freezed. I think your CD may be damaged.

it could be your ISO....try remaking it or playing off the CD for that part

I am also having the same problem. Same exact spot. I am wondering if there is any other way to fix this other than using the cd.

is it because you are using a downloaded ISO?
