MegaMan X 4,5,6 Music?

When i play my megaman X games there is never any backround music or music in the videos. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advanced.

In the sound ccnfiguration, make sure the first 3 checkboxes are cheked.

Hi, sorry to revive an old thread, i was searching a sollution to my problem when i found this topic, since I am having this exact same problem with Megaman X4, however i've already checked these options, i'm even using this same sound plugin, among several others, but still i can't hear the background music or the videos. With other games like Megaman X5, Breathe of Fire 4, where i was having this problem, after i checked the options, it worked but not in Megaman X4. The game is in a CD called Megaman Collection with Megaman 8, X3 and X4, in the PS it's all ok, but not in my pc. I don't have much experience with PS emulators, so i really don't know what to do.

I have the same problem, too. I have the same plug-in, I have the same settings which has been shown on the picture on the previous post an so on, but there is no sound. I have managed to solve the problem with the intro music on other games, but not on Megaman X4. I have checked the following sound plug-ins:

-Eternal SPU / v1.41
-P.E.Op.S. DSound / v1.9
-Andy's SPU / v0.16
-Pete's DSound SPU / v1.15
and teh default sound plug-in:
-ePSXe SPU core / v.1.5.2

I've tried with several combinations of settings, but nothing works. Is there any other plug-in which it works?

Hope these information are enough help for the beginning.
