Hi all,
I'm running Resident Evil: Directors Cut (only game at the moment) I'm pretty new to all this so bare with me, ok so i've set everything up and its all running smoothly, however, with regards to sound it seems to be fine except from the dialogue, so doors opening footsteps etc are all fine but I can't hear anything from the people when they're talking. Any ideas? On a separate note i've set up the controller and although moving and action is all working fine for some reason I cant shoot, it would normally be R1+O but there just isnt any response from the game. Any answers would be appreciated ![]() Thanks. |

So I'm having a different problem with RE directors cut.
When I start the game it runs fine but durring game play and cut sceans the sound and graphics become choppy. I have tried all the major plugins mentioned on this site for graphics, sound and cd, with various settings on each. Currently my settings are: Plugin: Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.8 Author: Pete Bernert Card vendor: ATI Technologies Inc. GFX card: MOBILITY RADEON 9700 x86/SSE2 Resolution/Color: - 640x480 Window mode - Internal X resolution: 1 - Internal Y resolution: 1 - Keep psx aspect ratio: off - No render-to-texture: off - Filtering: 0 - Hi-Res textures: 0 - TexWin pixel shader: on - VRam size: 128 MBytes Framerate: - FPS limitation: on - Frame skipping: off - FPS limit: Auto Compatibility: - Offscreen drawing: 2 - Framebuffer effects: 3 - Framebuffer uploads: 1 Misc: - Scanlines: off - Mdec filter: on - Screen filtering: on - Shader effects: 0/1 - Flicker-fix border size: 0 - GF4/XP crash fix: on - Game fixes: on [00001000] I am running a 2.2 ghz p4 with 512 mb ram and an ati 9700 128mb card I have tried running the disk and ripping it to iso with no success. |

These settings work perfectly. (Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.8 and Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41). BTW I'm running off a homemade ISO of the UK PAL version of the game.
Feel free to add on some filtering, etc to the graphics plugin to make it look better. But these work for sure. Last edited by industrian; May 7th, 2006 at 20:49. |
