cant get iso making program to finish

im having trouble making isos from several of my cds, namely duke nukem ttk, saga frontier and ff tactics. at first i was using isobuster and it would start copying but stop about halfway through the process sayingsomething like disc read error and image writing aborted. i dont get this becasue i can run them just fine off the cd with the emulator. so i decided to try alcohol 120 and the same thing happens, although there was one i was able to get with alcohol 120 which is breath of fire III. ive tried cleaning the cds as they are old but i have kept them in a cd case so i dont think they have been dropped off a building or anything like that. anyways, the word for word error message is this- "disc read error at: 51655" "disc dumping failed, error message no seek complete, and image file writing aborted. pretty much the same message for all three games ive tried. can anyone give me some ideas of why this is happening and what i can do? should i keep trying other iso making programs?

you mean like do they work on an actual playstation? if so yes, but if your talking about another cd drive on my laptop then no,

btw i just got iso producer to create a saga frontier one so thats one down, but when i tried using my duke cd with it, the program got to the same place of completion that isobuster and alcohol did(27%), but then crashed. does anyone who has tried making a duke nukem ttk iso ever had this problem?

i know this is long but heres the log file for duke if it can help clear this up -

No seek complete?
Could the CD be damaged?

This may be the problem or it may just be because it's almost 7am and I've not had sleep yet.

When I rip ISO files from CDs that have Data and Audio tracks, there is a very noticeable pause in ISO Producer when it goes from Data to Audio. This may be being interpreted as an error on what you're using. Make sure the retry-on-error option is on, and see what happens.

If this is in no way connected to your problem, then see my first statement.

Your CD is probably just scratched. You might need to use another PC to dump it, or use an external CD drive on your laptop. Most laptop CD drives are not the best at reading CDs/DVDs.

i dunno, when i tried duke ttk w/iso producer, it got to around 27% and then the whole program just locked up, i had to close it via task manager. with alcohol, it got to 27% then just gave me that error thats shown in the log i posted. im not really sure if my disk is scratched or not, i dont see any, and although ive had this game for a while and i got it used off amazon, and the fact remains that it runs fine on my ps2 and on epsxe via cd load option, no skips, no freezes, nothing, so i really doubt that it has something to do with it being damaged or even my cd drive not reading it, because i was able to create at least 10 iso images from my cds last night,3 gave me trouble, but 2 of those 3 i actually got working today, nukum however is driving me nuts cus i dont get why all the iso making programs wont finish the damn thing, they all get to the same point and then either freeze up or give me some tech report that i have no idea how to understand. im mean, i WAS having trouble getting saga frontier to work under alcohol, but then i ran it under isoproducer and it worked, but i still cant get nukem. any other iso making program things that i could try using?
