hello, try to mount your game to a virtual cd-rom, use daemon tools to mount your game. I prefer to use cdrsapu or others as the cd plugin for ePSXe. Try to see if it works!

only when i use psx emulation cheater with ff9 (i get opcode errors) my specific code that gave me a error (D01EFFEA A222 801EFFEA 2400) is a no magic stones needed code for the whole group (really the code only worked for zidane). the moment it showed the opcode error was after the fight with the air ship and receiving the glug stone(at the forgotten continent disk 3). i did notice that once the code was used (and a save created with the code having been enabled) the game has too be restarted from a save prior too the code being used (and never use the code due too the possible opcode error showing up later). also another that hinders saving a game had ocured when using the 999ap a fight code or 65000exp code not shure though ( i found the level 99 after one fight too work best. the best codes ive found that dont give errors (with exception of the 3 i mentioned) can be found here

http://www.cmgsccc.com/codes.php?do=...d=1254&page=57

need too create an account (or go too http://www.bugmenot.com) too get the codes (the three codes with errors are in the misc. codes section.

i havent ever seen opcode errors happen before until i played ff9 with psx emulation cheater.
since i found the problem was in the cheat codes i was applying, that is the only possible explination i can give.

...and a possible reason is that you use save states, that may be the problem. Try saving from memory card and load it again, see if it works.
