Dino Crisis 2 help

I have the ISO and i heard that the game dosent work well with this emulator.
The thing is, i dont know what to do with the patch. I put it in the same folder as the ISO file and and clicked on "applyppf.exe" and the game still dosent work. Am i doing something wrong? there is no readme file.

What the heck?
Try RUN ISO and see if the game runs.

yeh thats pretty clear.
I run the ISO but it dosent work. I just get a black screen.
The help says that i need PPF patch in order for this game to work, wich explains it not working.. the thing is im not sure what to do with the PPF file.

i have the same problem...
Dino Crisis 2 and Digimon Card Battle have this problem...
Digimon ISO i burn it again and still doesnt work

Thnx.

When you make your ISO file, make sure you're Reading Subchannels. That will nullify any need for a patch. I just ripped an ISO five minutes ago to make this post, and as you can see: it works.

BTW: Fully working Dino Crisis 2 plugin configs can be found here.

i think my iso is crrupited... i use this config and nothing happens...

It does not work perfectly with ePSXe :

"As with Dino Crisis 1, the US (NTSC U/C) version of this game has anti-mod protection, which needs to be removed inorder for it to work with ePSXe. This can be done via a PPF patch for the game, which you can obtain from NGEmu ! "

thats from the help file on the program. After the game wouldnt work i made my way there and found that there was ample president for my frustration - the game really dosent work well. And as u can see it requires a PPF patch, and as i have no idea what ur talking abt with the ISO rip im going to stick to trying to "patch" the game. Look i appriciate u going to all this trouble to prove me wrong, but what i need is help.. how do i install the patch?

As you are from Israel, I thought you'd be using the PAL version (the same as I do) of the game.

Yes i did.. i actually dont know what version it is, all i know is that the game dosent work.. Even after i tried ur special configuration wich was pretty similar to mine but hey i thought id give it a try. Ive tried everything, and ive played quite a few games on this emulator - 6, and still i cant get it to work with all my knowledge.

well, if you downloaded it, you'll get no support. not only is it illegal, it could very well be your downloaded ISO that's causing problems.
