fps problem

i have problems when playing ps1 games, its either very fast or slow. its an iso game not a cd.

my system is as follows:
3.6 ghz p4, 1 gig ram, ati radeon x600 pci-express. xp serice pack 2. 1280 x 1024 display. using some catalyst latest drivers or something.

it happens on all plug ins. any ideas?

hm... you are talking about the plugins and you have posted in
the pSX section, I need to ask you what emulator are you using?

Then please post this in ePSXe forum! Moving thread.
post your GPU configuration settings btw.
Change your FPS limit to "auto detect".

im so sorry i dont know which forum to post it in, please forgive me im new.

so here is a picture of my congurations.

my computer isnt very good, just a single core 3.6 p4.

Your PC is good enough, anyway you might want to use the Pete's OpenGL 1.76 or Pete's OpenGL2 2.8.
And read the Troubleshooting FAQ.
