Legend of Dragoon Problem - At the moon

oI'm experiencing a problem at the last place in Legend of Dragoon. After I have taken the stream in the tree, the characters went flying inside to the top. After all the characters have flown, the screen remains on the scene for forever. It just keeps on animating the scene but the characters were gone. I can't advance into the next scene...

Please, help me... I want to finish the game...

I had the same problem. And there is no way to pass that part in ePSXe. You will have to use another emulator to get past that part. CVGS works well.

Try one of the other emulators. I seem to remember CVGS working though, but maybe it was Bleem!. Anyway, try SSSPSX or maybe even pSX. My point is though, that it's a problem with ePSXe, you'll have to try another emulator.

I played through all of LOD successfully with ePSXe. However, I borrowed it from a friend and gave it back, so I don't have any way to try and recreate your problem. The point is, I got through it.

I'm almost certain that I played through with version 1.6.0, and I know I used OGL2 and Eternal for video and sound plugins. however, like Hushy's thread link says, try both 1.5.2 and 1.6.0 before giving up.

I tried masque's way of using OGL2 & Eternal as plugins for video and sound but everytime I load the game, I'm getting an error from OGL2

"No WGL extensions!"

What is the solution to this?

ludz, what are your computer's specs? the no WGL extensions is a good sign that you cant use OGL2.

You should always use the SCPH7502 bios with this game. It's a known problem that LOD does not work properly with that bios in ePSXe.

Dude, I give you props for playing ANY psx game on that machine. Reminds me of when I used to play psx at like 30-45 fps and I thought it was awesome. I had an AMD 450Mhz with a Voodoo2 and Lewpy's plugin. I was using ePSXe 1.0.1.

But as far as plugins go, try Kazzuya's Software GPU for that older machine.
